TissueCulture Ventilated & Non-Ventilated Cabinets

Description

APPLICATIONS
Gelman TissueCulture cabinets are commonly used in the handling of cell cultures such as tissue staining, culture growth and virus harvesting. The cabinets are designed to reduce cross contamination during handling of cell cultures in the laboratory.
For applications involving low to moderate risk biological agents that require Biosafety Level 1, 2 or 3 containment, the Gelman TissueCulture Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets should be considered. For more information, please contact our sales office.

OPERATION
The Gelman TissueCulture Class 100 Series Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinets produce vertical laminar airflow, free from particulate and biological contaminants.
Ambient air is drawn in through an easily accessible prefilter on top of the cabinet to trap large particles.
The prefiltered air is introduced to the work area through a final HEPA filter.
The HEPA-filtered air is projected over the entire work surface to provide a non-turbulence, particulate-free work environment for absolute product protection.
